7^th WORLD TRIBOLOGY CONGRESS LYON, September 5-10, 2021 1^st CALL FOR ABSTRACT It is our great pleasure to announce the opening of abstract submission for the 7^th World Tribology Congress. This international event will be an opportunity to bring together a large scientific community, to promote international exchanges and collaborations on the current topics on tribology. The conference will be organized around the ten following scientific themes and a partner event (more details here):
1. Interfacial flow and thin film lubrication 2. Wear of materials 3. Fundamentals of friction 4. Contact mechanics 5. Tribo-induced surface chemical and mechanical transformations 6. Multiscale approaches for multiphysics modelling and in situ experiments in tribology 7. Surface engineering in tribology 8. Biotribology, biomimetics 9. Tribology in manufacturing processes and industrial systems 10. Tribology to face the education and societal challenges Partner event: 48^th Leeds-Lyon Symposium on Tribology
Any contribution is welcome until 15 October 2020 through the submission platform and will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Acceptance will be notified by e-mail by end of January 2021. Selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in the peer-review journals partners of the conference, which are referenced on the conference website.
